After all the debates, campaigning, and advertising, it comes down to today. Now you, not the media or the elite of either party, are in control. We have an unrivaled ability here in America to make our leaders accountable to us, but we can't enjoy the effects of that ability if we don't utilize it - go vote!
Conservatives living in California, Colorado, and Florida will be able to vote for Tom Hoefling simply by selecting his name on the ballot. Those in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington D.C., Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming will still be able to vote for him, they'll just have to write him in (for a list that is a bit easier to access, check out this page). Remember to vote for principled pro-life conservatives for every office, not just for president.
For instructions on how to vote, Gizmodo has produced an excellent guide to every device used to vote in every state in America. A guide to locating your polling place, together with other information about voting, can be found here. You no longer have an excuse not to make your voice heard. Vote!

Romney and Obama the Same
What if there wasn't a difference between the two major candidates?
We can choose between Obama and Romney, who are essentially the same, or we can stand outside the box and choose someone who truly represents us.

Imperfection Versus Unacceptability in Politics
Many who oppose voting for a third party candidate do so because, as they argue, voting for a major candidate who is woefully wrong on some issues but who has a realistic chance of winning is preferable to voting for a candidate whose positions are in agreement with one's own but who is has no realistic chance of winning. To them, selecting from the lesser of two evils represented by the two mainstream candidates is preferable to voting third party. In defense of this position they often point out the inherent imperfection of every human being, thus every political candidate. According to this argument every vote ever cast is for the lesser of two evils, since no human is perfect.

Platform Republicans
Former Reagan-era diplomat and current World Net Daily commentator Alan Keyes has presented a strategy for conservatives dissatisfied with the Republican Party's liberal presidential nominee but unwilling to leave the party completely. Those in this category can honor their consciences and refuse to vote for Romney, a liberal, but vote straight Republican (as far as their conscience allows) down the rest of the ticket. This will not only help preserve a pro-life conservative majority in the House while building one in the Senate, the disparity between votes in the presidential race and the votes in other national races will send a clear message that conservatives have had enough of being trampled by the Republican wing of the elitist faction. This approach ultimately demonstrates support for the conservative (albeit imperfect) Republican platform while rejecting Romney, who rejects the Republican platform, hence the term "platform Republican."
While this approach has much to recommend it, one could imagine an amendment to it which would send an even clearer message to the Republican wing of the elitist faction: while voting straight conservative Republican down the rest of the ticket, vote for Tom Hoefling, who stands for all the good and very few, if any, of the bad aspects of the Republican platform, at the top. Not only would it send the message that conservatives are fed up and tired of "holding our noses" and voting, it would send that message that our country matters more to us than our party, and that principle is more valuable than politics. We do not have to be disenfranchised, we can send a message loud and clear that we believe in something worth fighting for, and we are done compromising it to achieve ephemeral political gain.

What if...
Judge Andrew Napolitano, a Fox News contributor, raised a series of questions in a recent article. What if the 2012 presidential election doesn't change anything? What if the candidates actually agree more than they disagree? He goes on to list a plethora of similarities between the two candidates, concluding with "What do we do about it?" He provides no answer, but this is the answer: http://www.tomhoefling.com/

Hoefling Economic Manhattan Project
Tom Hoefling has promised, if elected, to gather the best and brightest minds in the country and develop a workable plan for restoring the economy. Not an expansion of government and a step towards collectivism, as the New Deal was, but a truly American Deal, rooted in the principles on which our great nation was founded. The only way the economy can be set on its feet permanently is to remove the pseudo-socialist economic plans put in place and replace them with one based on liberty.

Republicans: Fewer Fleas
"In the recent debate over increasing the debt ceiling, the Democrats offered a plan to have a hungry eight hundred pound grizzly bear with fleas live in your house. The Republicans offered the bear, minus a few of the fleas. Now they want you to vote for them again because of their wonderful anti-flea credentials. But if you ask them about the bear in the living room, they call you a purist and an extremist." Tom Hoefling

A Standard to which the Wise and Honest can Repair
While other candidates have vacillated, obfuscated, and generally confused the issue of abortion or, worse still, come firmly down on the side of genocide against the unborn, Tom Hoefling has remained firm in his commitment to life. As shown in this page, Hoefling not only talks the talk now, he has walked the walk in the past on abortion.
Some argue that any vote for a third party candidate is a waste of a vote, however, a true wasted vote is one cast for a candidate who does not represent your beliefs. Pro-lifers are presented with a choice between a bevy of candidates who are, at best, tepidly moderate on abortion, and Hoefling, who has not backed down from taking tough stands on life. If we as pro-life voters waste our votes voting for a candidate whose views are antithetical to our own it will be made all the more egregious by the fact that we ignored a candidate whose views aligned with ours to do so.
A vote cast in defense of the eternal principles on which America was founded can never be said to be wasted. As George Washington, first president of the United States, put it, "let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair. The event is in the hand of God."

Know the Past
"History by apprising [citizens] of the past will enable them to judge of the future; it will avail them of the experience of other times and other nations; it will qualify them as judges of the actions and designs of men; it will enable them to know ambition under every disguise it may assume; and knowing it, to defeat its views." --Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 14, 1781

Not for any child if a court says that they don't deserve equal protection.
Not for any child if a democratic majority says that they don't deserve equal protection.
Not for any child if a particular state says that they don't deserve equal protection.
Not for any child of rape.

Not for any child of rape.
Not for any child of incest.
Not for any child if the mother claims that the pregnancy might cause her a hangnail.
So, no, in no practical sense is Mitt Romney pro-life.
Do not settle for a candidate who personally "pro-life" and practically pro-abortion.

Election Projection
Romney may have pulled close to Obama in nationwide polls, but projected electoral college tallies still leave him well behind. Tellingly, although the projection shows Romney losing handily, it shows Republicans gaining seats in the Senate, holding steady in the House, and gaining governors. The country is obviously ready for true conservatism. Romney is not falling behind because the country believes he is a conservative, but because it does not.

Those who are supporting my candidacy...
"Those who are supporting my presidential candidacy are not supporting me because they think I can win. They are supporting me because they think I'm right. If everyone who calls themselves a conservative would simply follow their example, I would win. It's a mathematical certainty." Tom Hoefling

The Christian Voter
The topic of how and why a Christian should vote is one that has stirred a great deal of discussion, even controversy. The most numerous group among Christian voters argues that Christians have a duty to preserve the country whatever the cost. These hold that a vote is in no way an endorsement of the person or thing being voted for, merely an acknowledgment that it is better than the alternative. Another, smaller, group maintains that a vote is an overt acceptance of the qualifications of the thing voted for, and thus implies that the voter believes it acceptable. Preserving the country at the cost of accepting the unacceptable would abhorrent to members of this group. The difference, striking as it is on a philosophical level, often, but not always, leaves the two groups in agreement. For the few times when the two groups diverge, however, it is imperative to understand the arguments on both sides and to have reached a conclusion.

Why Tom Hoefling?
After reading through the posts here I hope you recognize that Mitt Romney is not the way forward. He is unprincipled on social issues and governed as a self-described progressive! However, it may not be as overwhelmingly obvious why your vote should go to Tom Hoefling.
Hoefling, although little known, has been a tireless warrior for life and liberty throughout his career. He has served as campaign manager for Alan Keyes and, later, as chairman of America's Party. Today, he is still a staunch supporter of life, from conception to natural death, of our 2nd Amendment rights, of Reagan's style of "peace through strength" foreign policy, and of an America built on the principles that once made her great.
Tom Hoefling explains his beliefs in greater detail on his website--to see the page in its entirety on his website click here.

Quotes
“I would rather be beaten and be a man than to be elected and be a little puppy dog. I have always supported measures and principles and not men. I have acted fearless[ly] and independent and I never will regret my course. I would rather be politically buried than to be hypocritically immortalized.” -- Davy Crockett
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton
"When offered a choice between two politically intolerable alternatives, it is important to choose neither." --Alasdair MacIntyre
